Cove Warm Springs Pool, Campground - Cove

Why Go There? Historic landmark main attraction: spring-fed warm springs pool; changing room, limited item snack bar. Small campground adjacent to the pool area has shade trees. Very popular during summer months, so if looking for a more serene swim, early morning adult-only swim time is your best bet.

Jennings Hotel - Joseph

Location: 100 North Main Street, Second Floor
Why Go There? Historic building downtown includes a second story (must be able to walk up stairs) self-check in hotel with modern furnishings, shared bathrooms, sauna, kitchen and library, hip vibe. Street level wood burning pizza oven The Gold Room restaurant scheduled to open fall, 2019 street level.

Minam River Lodge - Minam River, Eagle Cap Wilderness

Season: Memorial Weekend (May)-mid October
Location: 8.5 mile hike-in from Moss Springs Trailhead (trailhead is 9 miles from Cove) on trail shared with horses (another option); or charter small plane from Joseph.
Why Go There? Deluxe/rustic wilderness off-the-grid lodge on the Minam River offers family-style winemaker dinners, music nights, hiking, woodfire hot tub, heated sauna (next to river swimming hole); resident chef bakes/cooks everything from scratch using lodge's organic garden ingredients. Lodge is popular with private plane owners who fly in for breakfast, so during "commute hours" expect the sound of planes.

Rimrock Inn - Enterprise

Why Go There? A handful of comfy 'glamping' tipis have a spectacular view overlooking Joseph Creek Canyon, Wallowa County. Historic inn has an indoor suite, two vintage campers. Restaurant, popular with locals, visitors serves hearty breakfasts, lunch, dinner (breakfast included in tipis, indoor suite lodging rate).
