Why Go There? Seventh generation family-owned lodge/cabins on 150 acres, on the Rogue River; confluence with the Illinois River (several miles east of the coast). Agness (population approximately 100 people), offers tranquil setting to relax, swim, boat/fish, hike, partake of optional home-cooked simple hearty family-style meals, chef's choice entrees (served in the evening, after non-overnight guests depart). Small store with limited fresh food menu, and history museum are on lodge property. Non-overnight guests may reserve lunch or early dinner, served daily, May-October.

Tu Tu Tun Lodge - Gold Beach
Location: 96550 North Bank Rogue River Road
Why Go There? Luxury lodge/cabins with beautiful views of the Rogue River, surrounding hills exudes hospitality, tranquility. During winter months, light hors d'oeuvres and breakfasts provided; Peak season includes optional meal plan, many activities. Winter/early spring wine dinner(s) (see food listing) available to lodging and outside guests, space permitting.

Wild Spring Guest Habitat - Port Orford
Location: 92978 Cemetery Loop Road
Why Go There? Tucked away a short drive(or walkable) up the hill from downtown Port Orford, the forested property contains rustic art filled comfortable cottages (each with mini fridge); art sculptures scattered throughout along walking paths, and labyrinth; separate communal building with full kitchen, game/lounge room, and views out to the ocean and overlooking the ocean view hot tub (which uses bromine rather than chlorine). Can hear cars, trucks on the highway below but not visible, and if occupancy is low, one can feel like being on a retreat. Owners live on-site but are seldom seen, except when setting out the sumptuous help-yourself breakfast buffet or if needed.
